VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

The United States requires visitors to obtain a Business Visitor Visa prior to entry and show that the purpose of their trip is for a business activity. Basic requirements include that the visit is temporary and that the visitor will return home at the end of his or her stay. In addition, visitors must maintain their residence abroad and show proof of binding ties to insure their return. Visitors may also be required to meet certain criminal and medical requirements.

VISA ENTITLEMENTS

Business Visitor Visa provides great flexibility in allowing you to engage in various business activities during your temporary stay including, participating in short-term training, attending a professional or business convention, conference or seminar, giving a lecture, conducting independent research at a scientific or educational institution, or volunteering in a service program.

In addition, you may also engage in tourism, travel throughout to all 50 states, attend a festival, concert, sporting or musical event, visit with friends and family, or perform short-term study.

An extension may be permitted under the Business Visitor Visa.
