VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

To obtain a Pleasure Visitor Visa, visitors must show that the purpose of their trip is for a fun and/or personal activity. Basic requirements include that the stay be temporary and that the visitor will return home at the end of his or her stay. In addition, visitors must maintain their residence abroad and show proof of binding ties to their home country. In addition, visitors may be required to show sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay and have adequate medical insurance coverage. Visitors may also be required to meet certain criminal and medical requirements.

VISA ENTITLEMENTS

Pleasure Visitor Visa provides great flexibility in you to engage in various activities during your stay in the United States, including, travel throughout the country to all 50 states, attendance to festivals, conferences, conventions, sporting and musical events, or visit world-renowned monuments, memorials and museums.

In addition, you may also engage in short-term study during your stay.

An extension may be permitted under the Pleasure Visitor Visa, or you may change the terms of your visa status.

Please note that visitors may not engage in employment or long-term study on a Pleasure Visitor Visa, and instead must apply for and be granted an appropriate work or study visa.
