LONG TERM BUSINESS VISA (TEMPORARY) BASIC VISA REQUIREMENTS

To obtain a Long Term Business Visa (Temporary) Basic Visa, it is necessary for you to fulfill the basic prerequisites set out by the NZ Immigration Service. These include meeting health and good character criteria.

The basic visa criteria include the following: that you have a reasonable standard of English, have a sound business plan and evidence that you have sufficient money aside from the investment funds to support yourself and any dependants included in your Application.


LONG TERM BUSINESS VISA (TEMPORARY) ENTITLEMENTS

You will be entitled to work and live in New Zealand for nine months. This allows you the time to take steps to establish your business. Before the nine months have expired you will be eligible to apply for a further Work Permit to take your stay up to a total of three years provided you demonstrate that you are making reasonable progress in establishing your business.
