GERMAN LAW STUDENTS AND GRADUATES VISA TO NEW ZEALAND
German law students and graduates are included as a special category of visitor under visitor's visa policy. This visitor's visa is for German law students and graduates who wish to come to New Zealand as an unpaid observer in a New Zealand law firm.
NEW ZEALAND GERMAN LAW STUDENTS AND GRADUATES VISA REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for a visitor's visa under the policy for German law student or graduates, applicants must meet basic criteria set by Immigration New Zealand. These include meeting health and good character requirements.
Applicants must be genuine temporary entrants, have evidence of outward travel and sufficient funds to support their stay in New Zealand. They must also have an offer of a temporary position as an unpaid observer in a New Zealand law firm.
NEW ZEALAND GERMAN LAW STUDENTS AND GRADUATES VISA ENTITLEMENTS
German law students and graduates who are approved under this policy may be issued with a visitor's visa and/or permit allowing a stay in New Zealand for up to 6 months. Holders of visitor's visas approved under this policy can be unpaid observers in a New Zealand law firm, but may not work or undertake courses of study that are more than 3 months in duration.
