You may apply for either a 12 or 23 month Working Holiday Visa (WHV) if you hold a passport from WHV eligible country which are Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and Uruguay.

WORKING HOLIDAY VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

To obtain this visa, it is necessary for you to fulfill the basic prerequisites set out by the NZ Immigration Service. These include meeting health and good character criteria.

The other basic criteria for this via includes the following: that you have an eligible WHV passport, be between 18 and 30 years of Age, have sufficient funds to meet your living costs, not have previously applied for a WHV and that your primary intention in coming to NZ is to holiday.

WORKING HOLIDAY VISA ENTITLEMENTS

As the holder of this visa, you are entitled to stay and visit New Zealand for the life of the Visa. However, you are required to abide by the conditions of this visa. This includes not engaging in employment.
