NEW ZEALAND TRANSITIONING TO RECOGNISED SEASONAL EMPLOYER VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a TRSE work permit, you must meet basic requirement set by Immigration New Zealand. These include meeting health and good character criteria. You must also be aged 18 years or over, be in New Zealand, have a genuine intention to work, and have not held work permit(s) totalling more than 7 months in the last 12 months to work in horticulture or viticulture.
A limited number of places for workers are made available under this policy by Immigration New Zealand.

As the holder of a work permit, you will be able to work in New Zealand in the fruit or produce growing industries or vineyards for an approved employer, for the life of that permit.
