NEW ZEALAND TERTIARY STUDENT VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a Tertiary student visa, applicants must have an offer of a place at tertiary institution (including Private Training Establishments, universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and wananga) to study for an approved course.
Applicants also need to meet minimum health requirements as dependent on the length of their stay.
- Applicants studying more than six months must provide an x-ray certificate
- Applicants studying more than one year must completed medical and x-ray certificate Applicants studying for more than two years will need to provide a valid police certificate.
Individuals also need to have adequate funds to support themselves during their stay in New Zealand.
NEW ZEALAND TERTIARY STUDENT VISA ENTITLEMENTS
Holders of Tertiary student visa can study for a qualification at a specified New Zealand tertiary institution for the duration for the visa. Some Tertiary visa student may be eligible to undertake part-time employment under certain circumstances.
