NEW ZEALAND PRIMARY AND SECONDARY STUDENT VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a Primary or Secondary School student visa, applicants must have an offer of a place at a New Zealand school approved by the Ministry of Education to take international students.
Applicants must meet health requirements, as dependent on the length of stay in New Zealand, and character requirements (for persons over 16).
Applicants who are enrolled to study in years 1 to 8 must be accompanied to New Zealand by a parent or legal guardian.
NEW ZEALAND PRIMARY AND SECONDARY STUDENT VISA ENTITLEMENTS
Holders of a student visa will have the right to study at a specified New Zealand primary or secondary school for the length of time specified on the visa. Primary & Secondary student visa holders cannot undertake employment while studying in New Zealand.
