NEW ZEALAND PARTNERS AND DEPENDENTS STUDENT VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

To obtain a Partner or Dependent student visa, applicants must have a spouse, partner or parent who is a New Zealand (or Australian) citizen or permanent resident, diplomatic service, armed forces worker, or a work permit holder.

Applicants applying on the basis of a spouse or partner may need to be enrolled in a course of study, and their spouses or partners meet the character requirement for supporting partnership application.

Applicants must also meet health requirements, depending on the length of stay in New Zealand, and character requirements.
