NEW ZEALAND PARENT OR GRANDPARENT VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a Parent/Guardian Multiple entry visa, applicants must meet the basic good health and character criteria, and be genuine visitors or tourists. That is, they do not intend to work or undertake study (unless the course is less than 3 months in duration).
Applicants must be sponsored by a New Zealand citizen or resident child or grandchild who will guarantee to meet living costs, costs of accommodation, outward travel (if necessary) and healthcare costs if required.
NEW ZEALAND PARENT OR GRANDPARENT VISA ENTITLEMENTS
Applicants who are approved a Parent/Guardian Multiple Entry Visa will be issued with a three-year multiple entry visitor visa, which will allow for a maximum stay of six months from each arrival date.
Visitor visa holders cannot undertake employment, but may undertake a course of study that is less than 3 months long.
