WORK CONDITIONS AND WAGES

All workers in New Zealand have to pay tax on your income. The average before tax salary is approximately $45,000. However, salaries vary according to the profession, industry, work experience.

All full-time employees are entitled to a minimum of four (4) weeks leave for every year of employment and there are eleven (11) annual public holidays for which all employees must be paid. Most companies in New Zealand work from 8.30am to 5pm. Parental leave is available for both parents.
