PARENT OR GRANDPARENT MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA TO NEW ZEALAND

The Parent or Grandparent Multiple Entry Visa is a special category of visitor's visa that provides individuals the flexibility to travel to New Zealand several times over a three year period to visit their children or grandchildren.



NEW ZEALAND PARENT OR GRANDPARENT MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

To obtain a Parent or Grandparent Multiple Entry Visa, applicants must meet the basic health and good character criteria, and be genuine visitors. That is, they do not intend to work or undertake study (unless the course is less than 3 months in duration).

Applicants must be sponsored by a child or grandchild that is a New Zealand citizen or resident who will guarantee to meet living costs, costs of accommodation, outward travel (if necessary) and healthcare costs (if required).


NEW ZEALAND PARENT OR GRANDPARENT MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA ENTITLEMENTS

Applicants who are approved a Parent or Grandparent Multiple Entry Visa will be issued with a three-year multiple entry visitor's visa which will allow for a maximum stay of six months from each arrival date.

Holders of a visitor's visa cannot undertake employment, but may undertake a course of study that is less than 3 months long.
