According to Statistics Canada the Canadian economy saw a 5 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2009, an "astonishing" difference from the projected 3.5 percent that was predicted by the Bank of Canada.
Immigration Minister Jason Kenny recently announced that there will be new online resources aimed at newcomers as a way to help them facilitate themselves in Canada and provide them with easier access to government resources.
Recent changes to the Provincial Nominee Program in New Brunswick will now allow residents to sponsor their family members outside Canada to join them in the province.
