AUSTRALIAN VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDENT VISA BASIC REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a Vocational Education and Training Visa, you must be able to satisfy the basic Visa requirements. The basic Visa criteria are that you are enrolled in a registered course, you have adequate English language ability, you have the financial means to support yourself and you have appropriate overseas student health insurance cover during your stay in Australia.

AUSTRALIAN VOCATIONAL TRAINING STUDENT VISA ENTITLEMENTS

As the holder of a Student Visa, you have the right to live and study in Australia. In some circumstances, you may be allowed to apply for permission to work up to 20 hours a week part time during term periods and full time in the vacation periods.

Graduate level students may also be entitled to apply for a permanent residence Visa in some circumstances.
