NEW PASS MARK FOR THE AUSTRALIAN SKILLED-INDEPENDENT STUDENT VISAFriday, April 15, 2005 The Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMA) has announced that the pass mark for the Australian Skilled Independent Overseas Student Visa (subclass 880) has changed. As of the 1st of April 2005 the pass mark for the Australian Skilled Independent Overseas Student Visa has been changed to 120 points. On the 1st of April 2005 the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMA) has changed the pass mark for applications for the Skilled–Independent Overseas Student (subclass 880) visas.The new pass mark for the Skilled–Independent Overseas Student category (subclass 880) is 120 points. If your application for the subclass 880 is received on or after the 1st of April 2005 you must meet the 120 point requirement to be granted the visa.
