Permanent Entry Visas:	Permanent entry visa applications are lodged in Hanoi and processed and decided in Ho Chi Minh City.
Temporary Entry Visas:	Limited visitor visa functions only - specifically, applications for visitor visas by Vietnamese officials and business visitors supported by Australian companies. Also student and visitor visas may be lodged, processed and decided in Hanoi. All other temporary entry visa applications are lodged, processed and decided in Ho Chi Minh City.
Special Procedures:	Enquiries from Australia on all visa matters for Vietnam should be directed to the Visa Office in Ho Chi Minh City and not to Hanoi. The PMO (L) has special duties relating to anti-fraud and the prevention of people smuggling and does not process and decide the usual range of visas.
