| Special Procedures: | Postal services in the Russian Federation and the other republics are generally slow and unreliable. Mail delivery can take 4 weeks or more. The Embassy advises applicants of decision and processing requirements by registered mail and/or telegram. Moscow accepts only US dollar payments.
Australia is represented by an Honorary Consul in Vladivostok. The address is This Office has consular responsibility for the district east of Baikal, encompassing the major cities of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. Migration packages may be purchased here. Vladivostok can accept visa related payments in US Dollars only (no longer able to accept Russian Roubles). Clients arrange and pay for delivery of their applications to Moscow, by courier. The Honorary Consul in Kyiv, Ukraine has no visa function. |
