| Permanent Entry Visas: | Applications are lodged, processed and decided by Visa Office, Australian Embassy, Paris. |
| Temporary Entry Visas: | This office provides a limited service to Portuguese nationals only, for applications for subclass 676, 686 and 456, which are processed in consultation with the Visa Office in Paris. All other visa applications should be lodged direct in Paris. However, visa charges can be paid in Lisbon. |
| Special Procedures: | Citizens of Portugal wishing to visit Australia for tourism or business for periods up to 3 months are eligible for streamlined processing through Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). |
