New requirements will be implemented from 5th March 2007 for UK visa applicants in Pakistan.

Applicants will now have to provide a certificate verifying that they are Tuberculosis (TB) free, when making their visa application. This will only apply to those wishing to come to the UK for longer than 6 months. Visitors and those staying for less than 6 months in the UK will not be required to produce a medical certificate.

Where there is no certificate provided with the application for a visa to the UK, the application will most likely be refused.
