UK Introduces Premium Visitor Visa

The United Kingdom is introducing a Premium multiple entry visitor visa for frequent travelers with a trusted history of visiting the UK.

The Premium visitor visa will allow unlimited entries to the United Kingdom, for up to 6 months at a time, for the validity of the visa.

The new Premium visitor visa will include a host of biometric security features, such as fingerprint scans of all 10 fingers. The new biometric security features will allow Premium visitor visa holders to register for fast-track entry to the UK by using automated iris-scans when entering, rather than queuing for immigration checks.

The Premium visitor visa is meant to facilitate the easy travel of trusted visitors to the UK, ensuring that they only have to provide biometric data once for the validity period of the visa, rather than upon each entry.
